Compliance Officer - Al Mulla Group


 

Responsibilities
•Conduct operational risk assessment reviews across Sales and Aftersales locations and Staff Accommodations to identify improvement opportunities. •Assist in the development/update of In-house Distributor Retail Standards (DRS) across all the automotive brands. Stay updated on any changes to the Principal’s (Daimler, Stellantis) Distributor Retail Standards and communicate updates to relevant internal stakeholders. •Conduct periodic compliance reviews to assess adherence to In-house and Principal Distributor Retail Standards. •Escalate non-compliance with Distributor Retail Standards to relevant stakeholders for mitigation. •Perform periodic follow up reviews on open issues identified during the operational risk assessment reviews and DRS reviews. Escalate long standing open items for Management action. •Perform Compliance Reviews with reference to existing Policies and Procedures and highlight shortcomings/deficiencies for management remediation. •Assist in the development/update of Policy & Procedures for various Departments/Divisions considering mitigating controls for existing deficiencies. •Assist in conducting Whistle-blowing investigations. •Prepare timely Compliance reports for Executive management/ Board Audit Committee. •Perform compliance reviews as per the approved Compliance Plan. •Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to automotive compliance activities. •Explore opportunities to integrate technology and automation for more efficient compliance monitoring. •Carry out any other engagements, as required from time to time. •Ready to internally travel to various auditee locations to execute audit & compliance engagements.

Education Degree
: Bachelor
Major
: • Business, Finance, Law or a related field. • Professional certification in compliance will be a plus
Experience

•Knowledge of generally accepted best practices, auditing standards, internal control frameworks, risk management, corporate governance, and their practical application in business operations. •Proficiency in conducting compliance audits and investigations. •Ability to propose effective solutions to mitigate compliance risks. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills. •Analytical and problem-solving abilities. •Attention to detail and a commitment to safety. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team. •Ethical and able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. •Proficient in MS Office.
